Integrations

Integrations

Connect approved channels to Vara without sharing customer API keys.

Account integrations let an approved external channel use Covara through a first-party, account-scoped connection. Open /home/{your_org_name}/developers/integrations to see availability and connection state.

Who Does What

An account member with the integrations.manage permission enables, activates, disables, and disconnects the Microsoft Teams tenant connection. Eligible current members link only their own Teams identity with a one-time code; linking yourself does not grant tenant-administration access.

Every message remains inside one Covara account boundary. The gateway resolves the validated Microsoft tenant and user to a current Covara membership on every queued turn. It does not choose an account from an email address, display name, or domain.

Private-pilot availability

Microsoft Teams is available only to approved enterprise pilot accounts. A Covara operator must complete the Microsoft tenant activation; customers do not supply bot credentials or customer API keys.

Review the Microsoft Teams setup guide, Covara privacy policy, and support guidance before enabling a pilot.
